Don’t Mind the Nails

We’re still working on the kinks, but welcome to Married IRL!

I’m Cay, also known as Squeakie and to my friends, Stephi, and I play a Dwarf Holy priest in WoW. My husband is Fio, or Jason to our friends, his main is a Balance Druid. We’ve been married for almost three years now, and we’re both hopeless video game nerds. Not just video games but a slue of games: Role Playing, Video, Live Action, Card games, you name it, we probably have something close to it, if not the actual game.

Now, what the heck, there’s a bizzilion million kagillion World of Warcraft blogs out there. Just look at Blog Azeroth, see the Introductions section? Tons of blogs. Both Jas and I have one. But we’ve been slacking. We’ve gotten to the point where whatever we may be thinking about our particular class and/or nitch has been said.

I also am a horrible alt maker. I’m almost at the 50 toons per acct max. I have 5 70s, three of which aren’t priests. Priest Power is a priesting blog but lately had turned into either a guild update blog and not much else (since all I can think to talk about is my other toons!)

So TJ, in her infinite wisdom, put the thought into our brains to make a blog together. Pointing out that we have many toons between us that we make sure we know how to play, plus that we’re one of those rare married types that both play. There was no, “Let me see if I can get my S.O. hooked!” type shenanigans since we’re both gamer geeks.

We end up talking a lot about gaming in general, WoW more specifically. That’s because of our Guild. I swear, I would not be playing this game if it weren’t for the people I play with. AC rocks my socks in more ways than one. But running a casual raiding guild that does twenty five mans is really… interesting. And sometimes, I’d love to just talk about that too.

So, without further babbling, welcome to where these thoughts meet paper. Or electrons. Whichever.

Oh and please, please PLEASE tell me if something is busted or not working right. I’m a total noob to this Wordpress self-hosting gig. For all I know, no one’s gonna be able to comment er something crazy. And if it gets too technical I can just ask Fio and he can work his tech magic on it… right hunny?
