On Why the World Scares Me Sometimes
Is this really necessary?
I’m not sure if I should be more scared that it is necessary, or scared that people THINK it’s necessary.

There’s a whole platoon of people that will sue you if you try to tell a 12-year-old girl how to avoid getting pregnant. That leads to this sort of thing;
Kinda funny how that works, huh? Sometimes you have to wonder if we as a country really think everything through the whole way. You know, beyond ‘Lets not offend anyone’.
You almost feel like you’re walking on egg-shells just to LIVE! Let’s be sure to cover ALL-BASES so that no one takes offense and so our own butts are saved…shall we? Ridiculous! heh
On a similar note, here in Rhode Island we had an incident at a local high school.
A teacher giving a rundown of Home Economics mentioned the average cost of raising a child per year (something around $10k, not including private school/college costs, etc).
Two pregnant teenage girls in the class took offense. They went home and complained to the parents. The parents had a “meeting” with the principal. The principal had a “talk” with the teacher. She is no longer allowed to present such facts in class.
That principal, and those parents, should be shot.
