Distraction – Non WoW
It takes a lot for me to read a graphic novel, and even then, it’s usually Marvel or DC related. But I grabbed the first volume of this at work yesterday and I JUST caught up to the latest story…
And I’m gonna go BATTY!
It’s a cute comic, for sure. Very girly, so dudes beware.
Now I know Doom has threatened to unleash the Tard-dom of Naruto on me, but I’m more of an anime watcher than a reader. This comic is by an american, so maybe that’s what makes it different, though the fact that it’s upper High school and college freshman makes it a bit more palatable as a romance than the freaking ZOMG I JUST GREW A HAIR ON MY SPECIAL PLACE LET’S GET ME A BOYFRIEND mangas that have 12 and 13 yr olds lookin’ to score that high school guy. /boogle
Hell, I loved Berserk, but ZOMG they DIDN’T FINISH the STUPID ANIME! /cry
So I’m a litle gun shy.
But so far, I’m waiting for Friday. This comic has made my list. ^.^

yeah, that is a VERY nice comic. I stopped reading it a while back when I realized I was spending about two hours in the morning catching up on all the comics I was following (*blush*)
Berserk made me SO SAD. Started out all awesome and then it was like the writers decided they needed to end it OMGRIGHTNOW.
Which is really sad, as I felt that they ruined a lot of excellent story with it, and for no gain.
I loved Berserk too. I truly understood disappointment after the “end” of that series.
